Very intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is typical, broad and complex with intense aromas of ripe cherry and licorice. In the mouth, it is dry, fruity and wrapped in soft tannins .: it is a very persistent wine. It features a great structure and can age for a long time.
IN THE VINEYARD
Grapes: Corvina Veronese, Rondinella
Vinification: After a short period of drying in wooden cases, this wine undergoes a traditional vinification technique which involves refermentation (second fermentation) in contact with the pomace soaked in alcohol and Amarone sugars. This process gives the wine an incredible structure, great character and flavor.
Aging: 2 years in large 20 - 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels
