Domaine Edmond Cornu & Fils is a family-run estate with approx. 15.5 ha of vineyards located in Ladoix, Burgundy, in the northern part of the Côte de Beaune. The production consists of 13.5 ha of Pinot Noir, 1.5 ha of Chardonnay and 0.5 ha of Aligoté. The estate is now managed by Pierre, his wife Edith, and his cousin Emmanuel. Edmond, now retired, still brings his precious support. The estate in 2007 obtained the appellation of rational agriculture for its constant commitment to integrated pest management and respect for the environment, nature and man. It is a long-term work for sustainable management, such as, for example, the control of the balance between the development of weeds and the vine, thanks to the adjustment of the dosage of pesticides, fertilizers, wine products, etc. With this in mind, the vine grows in harmony with the environment in which it lives (flora and fauna), thus allowing the production of high quality, healthy and ripe grapes. Therefore, and with the same spirit, the winemaking process does not need artifice to give quality wines with a great personality.
