Description: Pinot Grigio derives from a bud mutation of Pinot Noir, of which, excluding colour, it retains almost all of its characteristics. The first importation of Pinot into Italy seems to have been made from Burgundy. It has a straw yellow, almost coppery colour, generally moderately scented but with notable aromatic complexity. Full of nobility, it has a lot of substance and an admirable roundness that sometimes borders on a slightly lovely opulence, but always supported by a beautiful freshness.
Pairings: It is an ideal wine for important lunches, it goes well with fish starters, red radicchio from Treviso, risottos, white meats and fish in general.
Serving temperature: 9-11°C
