A blend of different vintages, a perpetual cuvée since 1986
"Authentic" because it is produced using the ancestral method of maceration, pressing the Bouzy Rouge grapes during fermentation.
The power of the Bouzy Pinot Noir is balanced by the Chardonnay, which adds finesse and freshness.
Variety: 85% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay
Grape Origin: Bouzy (Grand Cru, Montagne de Reims)
Terroir: Limestone and clay subsoil
Color: Intense and deep ruby color, with a very pronounced foam, due to the richness of compounds extracted during maceration.
Bouquet: Very fruity, with aromas of fresh and candied red berries, currants and raspberries, blood oranges, and grapefruit.
Taste: Balanced, rounded. Smooth, long, and powerful. Lively and full-bodied palate with fine tannins.
