A pure Chardonnay blend from several vintages, a perpetual cuvée since 2014
The structure of the Bouyz grapes is complemented by the freshness and vivacity of the grapes from the Marne Valley.
Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Grape origin: Partly from Bouzy (Grand Cru, Montagne de Reims) and partly from Brasles (Marne Valley)
Terroir: Limestone and clayey subsoil from Bouzy, with fragments of millstone grit, pebbles, and sand mixed with decalcified clay from Brasles
Color: Straw yellow with golden highlights. Fine perlage
Bouquet: Fresh and pleasant with pronounced notes of citrus (lemon, grapefruit), menthol, and fennel, which then evolve towards white fruits (peach, pear) and a hint of ginger
Taste: Both full-bodied and pleasantly fresh, with a long, mineral finish. Pleasant savoryness with a touch of flint. Overall, a delicious and fresh wine, lively now but also capable of providing pleasant surprises with aging.
