ESTATE FIZZANO CHIANTI CLASSICO GRAND SELECTION DOCG
Grape variety: Sangiovese (minimum 90%) and Colorino in % variable every year.
Production technique: The grapes destined for the production of this wine come exclusively from the Fizzano Estate. After fermentation, the wine ages in 35 hl French oak barrels for about two years, while a small part ages in 225 liter barriques for a few months. After the blend, the wine ages in the bottle for a year.
Colour: intense ruby red.
Bouquet: intense and fine with notes of wild berries and well-integrated spiciness.
Taste: warm and rightly savoury, with aromas of ripe red fruit and excellent persistence.
Producer's recommendations A long-aging wine, it goes perfectly with red meat dishes, roasts and game.
Serve at a temperature of 16/18 °C.
Alcohol content: 14.0% vol.
