TENUTA SANT'ALFONSO CHIANTI CLASSICO DOCG 2022

Grape variety: 100% Sangiovese

Production technique: one of the company's two historic crus, this wine is produced with grapes selected exclusively from the Sant'Alfonso estate. After a fermentation carried out with methods that allow the maximum extraction of the polyphenolic substances, the wine ages in 35 hl French oak barrels for at least a year and then further refines for a few months in the bottle.

Organoleptic characteristics

Colour: very intense ruby red.

Bouquet: great complexity and olfactory richness with notes of ripe red fruit and spices.

Taste: warm, full-bodied, very soft well supported by freshness and tannic structure.

Producer's advice: Long aging wine, it goes perfectly with red meat dishes, roasts and game.

Serve at a temperature of 16/18 °C.
