Production area: in the locality of Bogliona, on the border of the three municipalities of Castel Rocchero, Montabone and Acqui Terme, at 400 m a.s.l., predominantly sandy soil.

 

Vinification: Aging for a minimum of 18 to a maximum of 36 months in large French oak barrels from Allier then 2 years in the bottle

 

Alcohol: 14-14.50%

 

Total acidity: 6.5 g / l

 

Longevity: from 10 to 20 years, it is best tasted after the fifth year

 

Serving temperature: 16 ° C.

 

Color: ruby red with bright purple reflections
