Superiore Riviera del Garda Classico DOC 2021

It is the most prestigious red wine of Lake Garda. This great red was born in Valtènesi, the area most suited to the production of reds from Groppello grapes.

With a deep ruby red color, great fullness, texture and elegance, it is considered one of the flagship wines of our cellar.

Capable of aging and expressing itself at its best in the 2 years following the harvest, it represents our red philosophy: Authoritative, persistent and with great personality.

Grape variety: 90% Groppello, 10% Rebo

Production area: Valtenesi (Polpenazze del Garda, Manerba del Garda)

Harvest period: End of September

Winemaking: Manual harvesting and selection of the grapes. Delicate crushing and destemming and fermentation in steel for 10/12 days. Refines for 12 months in second/third passage wood. Followed by rest for at least 6 months in the bottle.

Color: Ruby red

Perfume: Elegant and intense. Strong spicy note, wild strawberry and ripe fruit

Taste: It is soft and the tannins are sweet and balanced. The entrance is savory and enveloping. It has excellent persistence with an elegant and velvety aftertaste.

Pairings: Exquisite with red meats, roasts, stews and mature cheeses.
